My life-threatening Saturday morning hangovers are frequently medicated by the kombucha on tap at this establishment. While the interior decor is even more cracked out than the corridor of 6th Street just beyond the door, the environment is warm and welcoming thanks to the outrageously reasonable prices and young, friendly staff.

interior style combines old-timey-oceanliner with tiki lounge with ancient greek & astronomy aesthetics.

they have house-made kombucha and it is DELICIOUS. crisp, flavorful, not too sweet, not too dry.

definitely coming back here for the beverages and the vibe!

Cool place!

What a great island of paradise in the heart of Sixth Street!

Rancho Parnassus is a roomy bar/cafe/restaurant with a creative and colorful decor. They have a great menu full of healthy yet yummi picks for very reasonable prices (Mushroom empanadas with 2 sauces, Armenian pumpkin bolani, fish oil boost shot... ) Lots of games, books, funky odd objects to check out or play with while waiting for friends or just killing time sipping on the delicious white tea and orange blossom kombucha on tap.

The place is full of care and love. Go check it out next time you're in the neigborhood.

Now that commercial Kombucha has started to disappear off store shelves after questions of alcohol content, what's a fan to do.
Rancho Parnassus to the rescue. Home made kombucha on tap and for sale in the fridge.
Rancho Parnassus is so much more. The custom grilled panini, obscure beverages and crazy interior decor. The oasis of calm in a dicey 6th street, home to down on their luck side walk sitters and live work lofters. Unpretentious community oasis that's become a destination cafe.
